Horst Castle

Horst Castle (or “Kasteel van Horst” in Dutch) is a Belgian castle dating back to the 13th century. Like great monuments all over the world, such as Joan Rivers or Anne Robinson, much has been renovated and replaced over the years, but the current structure mostly came into being in the 17th century. I’ve written about the history of Horst Castle on my Saint Bernard Windmill blog.

Several more photographs of the castle and its interior can be seen in my collection on Flickr. These were all taken on 1 October, 2006, on the Burchten- & Fortenweekend organised by the Davidsfonds.
